Dear Mr. Simonite:
This message is in reference to your FOIA Request 2016-008203 received on 8/2/16 concerning all communications between the FAA and the company Alphabet on unmanned aircraft testing related to drone delivery..

The Office of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration Office has been assigned your request to answer. Your current scope will require a massive search of records, and also will require reviewing these records to determine whether or not they are responsive in scope. Would you be open to narrowing your scope possibly to a records search of our UAS research division? Also, if you could further clarify what you mean by "drone deliver", it would be helpful in trying to close your request in the allotted timeframe.

It is necessary, at this point, that we negotiate 10 additional days (weekdays) from 9/7/16 to be able to complete your case. Your new due date will be 9/21/16.

Please reply, to this email, that you agree to this additional time.
