Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am seeking all documents sent to or from, or created by, Food and Drug Administration Office of Criminal Investigation Special Agent Brian Kriplean that mention nootropics either as a general category or specifically (i.e. picamilon.)

This request should be construed to include Agent Kriplean’s work concerning these compounds at the agency, inter, intra, and extra-agency documents composed, authored, or reviewed by Agent Kriplean, as well as those documents composed by anyone else that have been viewed by Agent Kriplean. This should also be construed to include records of any specific training undergone by Agent Kriplean that mentions these compounds, in addition to records of specific and general training attended or administered.

This request should furthermore be construed to include but not be limited to, court documents, testimony, court transcripts, expert reports, memoranda, interviews, memoranda of interviews, briefs, depositions, complaints, answers to complaints, interrogatories, emails, text messages, letters, files, subpoenas, warrants, search warrants, arrest warrants, petitions, affidavits, and all metadata related to any of the prior mentioned documents or e-documents, that have been viewed, sent to, from, or created by the aforementioned agent, and which mention or reference nootropics either as a category or picamilon specifically.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
