Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all memos, white papers, meeting notes, agendas, photographs, draft documents, interviews, maps, data and other documentation generated during the production of the July 2024 final investigative report issued as part of the Federal Indian Boarding School Initiative. This request specifically seeks documents and other records that went into the production of the investigative report. It also seeks email correspondence between the core team members involved in the production of the report. It specifically seeks email correspondence, including attachments, sent among the core team members that concern marked and unmarked burial sites at the locations of former federal Indian boarding schools. I am a reporter for The Nation, The Guardian and other outlets and request a fee waiver as all materials will be used to inform the public.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
