This request does not fall under the scope of the DCSA mission. If the subject had a security clearance, it is possible that DCSA would have those records. However, that is not what your request was seeking. If that is something you do want to request you can submit that inquiry to our office in Boyers, PA (NBIB FOIPA Requests <FOIPARequests@nbib.gov>). However, as someone's security investigation is of personal information and falls under the privacy act, you would need their authorization for release of their records to a third party or proof of death.
I do recommend you submit a request to NARA (if you haven't already done so). As records of permanent value (other than personnel) become approximately 25 years old, they are transferred from the office where the documents originated to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Military Records Branch, 8601 Adelphi Road, College Park, MD 20740-6001, Telephone: 301-837-3510. Records transferred to NARA are available to the general public, unless they are classified for national security reasons. As the documents you are requesting are more than 25 years old, they may now be located at NARA, if they exist, and were considered to be of permanent value.

Greetings.
I apologize for the late reply I am still serving and was away.
In regards to your reply, the thing is that yes it is about a persons personal records. a person of public interest who is most certainly dead. according to both the death certificate issued in 1945 and the mainstream story of his demise. However if if these were wrong by now it is certain that due to age General Kammler would have passed on.
And given his sensitive wartime research and development of secret weapons, and his debriefing by the CIC it seems certain that many of his post war reports were classified and thus you must have them. Some many not have been requested nor been released yet.
Also given the sensitive nature of his possibly presence in the US after the war, the documents and post war work here would be classified.
But after 75 years I believe all relevant classifications can by now be removed.
And it is in the greatest historical interest that this be done.
