Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

The Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) including all Fitness Report and Counseling forms (NAVPERS Form 1610/2), the most recent Cumulative Record of Training (NAVPERS Form 5300/16), the Background Summary (NAVPERS Form 1640/32), history of assignments (NAVPERS Form 1070/605) , military awards and full citations, military education/training courses and Form DD-214, for Charles Patrick Pfarrer III ( Born April 13, 1957).
Mr Charles Pfarrer has claimed publicly to have served in the United States Navy as a commissioned officer, approximate service dates 1981 - 1988. Mr. Pfarrer has claimed service overseas in Beirut and in Central America. Please redact any sensitive information protected in accordance with Executive Order 13526 or the Privacy Act of 1974.

Mr Charles P. Pfarrer has identified himself to numerous news outlets that he is former Navy SEAL and counter-terrorism expert appearing on Fox News, CSPAN-2, NPR, CNN, IPR, Voice of America, ABC and others. He has also claimed to be a hollywood screenwriter and producer of many films based on his experiences and background qualifications. Some examples below posted online

As noted above, I also request expedited processing of this FOIA request. Mr. Pfarrer is considered an expert on the activities of the U.S. military by the national news media.
There is a compelling, obvious urgency to inform the public about the veracity of Mr. Pfarrer's claims and his background experience including his service in the United States Navy. This should fulfill the requirements of requesting expedited processing from this agency. Please respond with an estimation of the amount of time it will take to process the request.

I also request that fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
