Judy Silber:

DOI-BOR-2022-002505 has been processed with the following final disposition: Full Grant.

Records were released to the public as a result of this request. You may retrieve these records immediately using the following link: View Records Over the next 2 hours, these records are also being added to FOIAonline's search pages, further enabling you to retrieve these documents associated with your FOIA request at any time. (https://foiaonline.gov/foiaonline/action/public/submissionDetails?trackingNumber=DOI-BOR-2022-002505&type=request)

The Bureau of Reclamation FOIA office received three Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, dated March 7 and March 8, 2022, and assigned them control numbers DOI-BOR-2022-002505, DOI-BOR-2022-002506, and DOI-BOR-2022-002507.

You will notice this communication combines or aggregates more than one of your requests.  We may aggregate requests for administrative reasons without charging fees accordingly when we reasonably believe that you, or a group of requesters acting in concert with you, are dividing a single request into a series of requests on a single subject or related subjects.

Because your three requests were on a single subject and made within a 30-day period, we reasonably believe that a single request was divided into a series of requests.

Therefore, we are processing your request under DOI-BOR-2022-002505. Please cite this number in any future communications with our office regarding your request. You requested FOIA logs for 2019, 2020, and 2021.

We are writing today to respond to your requests on behalf of the Bureau of Reclamation. Enclosed are 3 files containing the FOIA Logs for 2019, 2020, and 2021, which are being released to you in their entirety.

We do not bill requesters for FOIA processing fees when their fees are less than $50.00, because the cost of collection would be greater than the fee collected.  See 43 C.F.R. § 2.37(g).   Therefore, there is no billable fee for the processing of this request.

Exclusions

For your information, Congress excluded three discrete categories of law enforcement and national security records from the requirements of FOIA. See 5 U.S.C. 552(c). This response is limited to those records that are subject to the requirements of FOIA. This is a standard notification that is given to all our requesters and should not be taken as an indication that excluded records do, or do not, exist.
