From: U.S. Special Operations Command - USSOCOM

Hello Mr. Peck,

The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) received your Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) request for documents specifically outlined in your
request and have assigned it control number USSOCOM FOIA 2024-343. Please
refer to this number should you have any questions concerning your request.

We have placed you in the News Media category for fee purposes, which means
you are obligated to pay all duplication costs after the first 100 pages.
In addition, a fee agreement is the amount you would give consent to pay
associated with the processing of a request for information. In the future,
along with your request for information, it will be necessary for you to
submit a fee agreement stating the costs you are willing to incur before
your request can continue to be processed. Upon receipt of your fee
agreement, your request would then be processed in accordance with
procedural requirements promulgated in Department of Defense (DoD)
Regulation 5400.07, which is available on the internet at
<https://open.defense.gov/Portals/23/Documents/FOIA/FOIA_Resources/DoDM%2054
00.07.pdf?ver=2017-03-15-135646-847>
https://open.defense.gov/Portals/23/Documents/FOIA/FOIA_Resources/DoDM%20540
0.07.pdf?ver=2017-03-15-135646-847. If we believe processing fees would
exceed your cost agreement, we would advise. In this case, though, no fees
were assessed.

The actual processing time was dependent upon its complexity, whether it
involved sensitive records, voluminous records, extensive searches,
consultation among DoD components or other agencies, and our administrative
workload. The USSOCOM FOIA Office has a substantial number of pending FOIA
cases and, therefore, we process requests in a multi-track processing system
based on the date of receipt and the amount of work and time involved in
processing each request.

Due to size constraints when emailing final response documents to FOIA
requesters, your FOIA

request, USSOCOM's final response letter, and all responsive information in
redacted format, if any,

is being sent to you electronically via DoD SAFE. You will receive a
separate email containing an

individual username and password. Once the email is received, click on the
link provided and you will

be directed to DoD SAFE. You will then be prompted to enter the provided
username and password.

Once entered, you will see the documents being sent to you along with
instructions on how to

download them.

USSOCOM FOIA 2024-343 is closed with no further action from this office.

Regards,

Connie
