1. All purchase orders, invoices, bid documents, or contracts between the agency and Grayshift, or regarding Grayshift's technology Graykey
2. Emails sent or received between agency employees and any individuals whose email addresses end in the domain name "@grayshift.com"
"..GrayShift is an American company which appears to be run by an ex-Apple security engineer and others who have long held contracts with intelligence agencies. In its marketing materials, GrayShift offers a tool called GrayKey, an offline version of which costs $30,000 and comes with an unlimited number of uses. For $15,000, customers can instead buy the online version, which grants 300 iPhones unlocks." https://graykey.grayshift.com/
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This letter is intended to acknowledge the receipt of your recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, received by the United States Secret Service (Secret Service) on May 11, 2018, for information pertaining to:
File Number 20180942: All purchase orders, invoices, bid documents, or contracts between the agency and Grayshift, or regarding Grayshift's technology Graykey; and
File Number 20180943: Emails sent or received between agency employees and any individuals whose email addresses end in the domain name "@grayshift.com".
Please be advised, provisions of the Act allow us to recover part of the cost of complying with your request. We shall charge you for the records in accordance with Interim FOIA regulations as they apply to "media" requesters. The first 100 pages of duplication are free of charge. As a "media" requester, you will be charged .10 cents a page for the duplication of each additional page.
Furthermore, the submission of your request is considered a firm commitment, by you, to pay all applicable duplication and search time costs charged, under 6 C.F.R., Chapter I, Part 5 § 5.11, up to $25.00. A search for files responsive to your request is being conducted. The appropriate components of the Secret Service are being queried for responsive documents. If any responsive records are located, they will be reviewed for a disclosure determination. You will be contacted before any additional fees are accrued.
Due to the increasing number of FOIA requests received by this office, we may encounter some delay in processing your request. Per Section 5.5(a) of the FOIA regulations, 6 C.F.R, Part 5, the Secret Service processes FOIA requests according to their order of receipt.
Your request has been assigned FOIA File Numbers 20180942 and 20180943. We solicit your cooperation and assure you that the search will be conducted as expeditiously as possible.
