Dear Mr. Meadors:
This is in response to your Freedom of Information Act Request #53735. We
received your request on July 25, 2017. You requested a guest list of
those who attended the Independence Day celebration at the United States
Embassy in Tel Aviv in July of 1967.
Documents such as guests lists are not usually considered permanent
records. We searched the relevant Foreign Service Post files for Tel Aviv,
and we did not locate a guest list for an event. We did locate two
documents (six pages in total) relating to Independence Day. They are
attached to this email for your convenience. The documents come from the
following series: RG 84, Israel, U.S. Embassy, Tel Aviv: Classified Central
Subject Files, 1962-1968 (Entry P 370).
This concludes the processing of your request.
If you are not satisfied with our action on this request, your options for
appeal and dispute resolution are outlined in the attached enclosure.
Sincerely,
CATE BRENNAN
