To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

a copy of the list or printout or database listing of Inspector General investigations closed/reports completed during calendar year 2013. If the list is organized by FY rather than calendar year, the FY 2013 list is sufficient for this request. If no central list or database exists, then I request copies of the cover sheet or first page of each IG report completed during calendar year 2013.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Emma Best

Good morning Emma. The above-referenced number was assigned to your most recently submitted request, in which you seek access to a listing of Office of Inspector General (OIG)investigations closed during (either CY or FY) 2013. Having received from you're an identical request asking for the OIG cases closed in 2014 only two weeks ago, I am quite puzzled. It appears you're not reading the responses we are providing to you.

First - So as not to delay receipt of a FOIA request, I wanted to reiterate to you that FOIA requests should be submitted directly to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in one of the following ways:

1. Direct submission through FOIAonline.
2. Email submission to FOIA.Resource@nrc.gov<mailto:FOIA.Resource@nrc.gov>.
3. Fax submission to 301-415-5130.
4. Snail mail submission to: US Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Attn: FOIA Officer, Mailstopp: TWFN-6 A60M, Washington, D.C. 20555-0001

All of this information, including a link to FOIAonline, may be found on the NRC's public website, https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/foia/foia-privacy.html.

Second - in response to a prior FOIA request that you had submitted, NRC-2019-000330, the OIG issued a response that included the listing of closed investigation cases for the ten-year time period, FY2009-2017 (even though your request had asked for a listing for 2017 only). As that listing was generated on March 27, 2018, there would be no change respecting the investigations closed in FY2013. As such, we consider your current request to be a duplicate of that prior request and are administratively closing our file on your request. As a courtesy, I've attached a copy of the OIG response to your earlier request, and the released listing that was provided to you. I have highlighted the 2013 closing dates throughout the listing.

Please note that, since the OIG has already responded to your requests for closed case/investigation listings for FY2009-2017, we do not intend to respond to any further requests you may submit for any of those years as the information contained on such listings, and the exemptions applied, will not change.

Thank you.
