Dear Mr. Triplett:

We are processing your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking "A copy of any correspondence, memos, talking points, or other documents that are regarding or reference the grassroots campaign "Internet Slowdown Day" (https://www.battleforthenet.com/sept10th/), which took place on September 10, 2014, excluding the public comments received as a result of the campaign." In requesting staff for search for responsive records, we have been notified that they are finding newsletters such as Communications Daily or TR Daily that refer to the "Internet Slowdown Day." I am writing to inquire whether we could exclude newsletters or press clippings that refer to the event from our response. By this exclusion, I am referring only to published news articles, newsletters, and subscription services.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Schecker,

I agree to amend my request to further exclude newsletters and/or press clippings (in addition to public comments received as a result of the campaign) from any documents that would otherwise be responsive. If there are any comments/correspondence within the agency regarding a particular news article, I trust that the comments/correspondence will not be excluded.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Donald Triplett, III
