This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All communications with the following agencies specifically regarding Operation Marco Polo, the federal investigation into Silk Road, from January 1, 2010 up to the receipt of this request:
o DEA
o FBI
o Secret Service
o HSI
o USPIS
o USPS
o DHS
o ATF
o USMS
o FinCen
o ICE
o CBP
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
I request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest and I am a representative of the news media. I am a proven freelance journalist with a focus on FOIA-based reporting.
