JLENS contract and invoices (Army Contracting Command)

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All contracts and invoices associated with purchase of JLENS systems

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Per the below 3 Feb 2014 email, this request was forwarded to the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense/Army Forces Strategic Command and the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command.

Per the below 10 Feb 2014 email, this request was then forwarded to the Army Contracting Command, which assigned it FOIA Number FP-14-013078/FA-14-0016 and provided the attached cost estimate.

Per the below 5 Jun 2010 email, I narrowed the request to just the contract(s) associated with the JLENS systems.

Are you able to pull a listing of contracts/solicitations associated with the JLENS system? I have not been able to find this information, which is why I submitted a FOIA request for it. For other FOIA requests related to military acquisitions, I have been able to move forward with these types of requests in this way.

Please let me know if this sounds like a reasonable way of moving forward.
