To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
1. All emails and Skype messages sent to or from EOIR personnel from January 1, 2019 to the present, including, but not limited to immigration court staff, immigration judges, the assistant chief immigration judge, and EOIR personnel in Falls Church, Virginia regarding video-teleconferencing of detained docket removal proceedings in the following locations:
a. Winn Correctional Center
b. Jackson Parish
c. Richwood Correctional Center
2. All EOIR meeting agendas, powerpoints, training communications, or learning modules regarding videoteleconferencing of detained removal proceedings created on or after January 1, 2018.
3. Any spreadsheet or database information showing the total number of VTC proceedings conducted in FY19 and the total number expected in FY20.
4. Any report, spreadsheet, alert, memorandum, or advisory addressing failures or challenges in administering VTC proceedings in Louisiana created on or after January 1, 2018.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
