This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Any and all materials sent electronically and/or given in person to Department of Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Chief of Staff Brian McCormack from representatives of Murray Energy for their meeting on March 29, 2017.
As reported on December 6, 2017 by InTheseTimes and December 8, 21017 by the Washington Post, Murray Energy CEO Robert Murray presented Secretary Perry with an action plan for "achieving reliable and low cost electricity". The document from Mr. Murray was dated March 23, 2017.

Additionally, the InTheseTimes article states, "Energy officials also received a thick packet of six draft executive orders to roll back the “anti-coal regulations of the Obama Administration.” I am also requesting a copy of these draft executive orders.

Also as we discussed, you have agreed to accept these in lieu of a formal response to the above referenced FOIA request and have waived the appeal rights for these documents. Per our phone conversation, I am confirming that the terms of our agreement is based upon your representation that the documents produced in response to this separate FOIA encompass all documents responsive to the Energy and Policy Institute FOIA request and, further, that the only redactions to the responsive documents are to obscure personal cell phone information.

You are correct. The documents sent over encompasses all the responsive records for HQ-2018-00386-F and includes an additional document regarding Murray Energy's 202 (c ) request sent in August of 2017. The only redactions are on pages 1, 2, 4, and 5 to remove cell phone numbers.
