To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

An acknowledgement letter, stating the request is being processed.

From:

Dear Mr. McMillan,

Documents responsive to your request require coordination with other agencies. When we have received responses from those agencies stating that they have received the documents requiring coordination, we can at that point ask for an estimated completion timeframe. Based on past experience coordinating with other agencies, it will be at least six months before we receive any review responses. Our final response to you will be dependent upon our receipt of those agencies’ review determinations.

You may appeal based on the statutory time limits, as indicated in our acceptance letter; however, it would seem more reasonable to allow continued processing so we can provide a response as soon as the requisite document reviews are complete. Unless we hear from you to the contrary, we will assume you agree, and continue processing on this basis. You will have the right to appeal any denial of records after you receive a final response to your request.

Sincerely,

Andra Barker

To whom it may concern,

I have been awaiting a final response on FOIA case #f16-0007, it non-form letter update for this request for over 7 months past the estimated COMPLETION date. Although I am willing to continue to wait and understand the complexity of agency information releases, however this is me becoming somewhat more drawn out than most complex FOIA requests.

I have not received updates or even responses to 8 resp automated update requests.

I would appreciate a manual update with any information yet made available, even if only a list of documents already processed and not the documents themselves.

The statement " Based on past experience coordinating with other agencies, it will be at least six months before we receive any review responses" was made on 12/04/15 and have received near identical responses as recently as 2/12/16. I have not received a response since this date.

Again while I am willing to continue waiting, no information of any kind, or update on which agencies are involved in the consultation of information release.

Any information, or manual review that would release any information now partially available, the other agencies consulted or in consultation, a new estimated completion date or general information on the status of the request would be gladly appreciated

Regards
David McMillan

I have not received updates or even responses to many automated update requests.

I would appreciate a manual update with any information on the status of my request. Again, acknowledging the complexity and coordination involved I understand that this will likely take time in itself, I would simply like to know that my request is still being processed and pursued.
