Communications
From: Robert Delaware
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
White House Communications Agency video footage (WHTV content) filmed during President Obama's visit to Seattle on October 21st of 2010.
This is a request to review all footage from that day, including outtakes and rushes.
The itinerary for that day is described as followed:
Arrival at Boeing Field in Seattle
The President Meets With Seattle Family (location: private residence)
The President Holds a Discussion on Women and the economy (location: private residence)
The President Delivers Remarks at a rally for Senator Murray (UW campus)
Departure from Seattle to San Francisco
Of particular interest (to me) is of any video from the remarks by Obama given to the overflow crowd that gathered in the Husky Stadium end zone. I was on the rope line, and shook Obama's hand, at the overflow event that day: https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/the-press-office/2010/10/21/remarks-president-overflow-crowd-university-washington
It would be wonderful if these could be uploaded to the Obama Presidential Library YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@obamalibrary - As other similar requests have been.
Thank you for the Obama Presidential Library's commitment to transparency, and I look forward to the resolution of this request.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Robert Delaware
