Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
All records and documentation associated with Federal Probation/Pretrial Officer John T. Edge (a/k/a John Thomas Edge; John T. Edge, Sr.; John Thomas Edge, Sr.) between 1960 and 1982. Edge died on August 30, 2022. His obituary is attached and can also be found here: https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/john-edge-obituary?id=36380275. He worked in the Macon office of the Middle District of Georgia U.S. District Court.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Associated court cases and case numbers
- Pre-sentence reports
- Communications
- Recommendations
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
