This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Any written or electronic calendars, meeting , or appointment schedules kept as "agency records" within the meaning set forth by Consumer Federation of America v. Department of Agriculture, No. 05-5360 (D.C. Cir. 2006) by Regents (including Ex-Officio, Regent Emeritus, and non-Regent Committee Members of any Committee of the Board of Regents) and/or Officers (elected or appointed in accordance with section 5 of the current By-laws) describing the dates, times, locations, subjects and known attendees of any meetings/consultations engaged in with third-parties whilst in conduct of the business of the Smithsonian.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
