Mr. Roby,

We have received your FOIA request for New Mexico National Park Units (IMR - NM). Your tracking number is DOI -NPS-2020-002172. Please reference this number when communicating about this request.

We have classified you as a representative of the news media. As such, we may charge you for some of our duplication costs, but we will not charge you for our search or review costs; you also are entitled to up to 100 pages of photocopies (or an equivalent volume) for free. See 43 C.F.R. § 2.39<http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?c=ecfr&sid=0fc3ab3499768eebc2e3691c8cf88dec&rgn=div5&view=text&node=43:1.1.1.1.2&idno=43#43:1.1.1.1.2.7.5.3>. If, after taking into consideration your fee category entitlements, our processing costs are less than $50.00, we will not bill you because the cost of collection would be greater than the fee collected. See 43 C.F.R. § 2.37(g)<http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?c=ecfr&sid=0fc3ab3499768eebc2e3691c8cf88dec&rgn=div5&view=text&node=43:1.1.1.1.2&idno=43#43:1.1.1.1.2.7.5.13>

MULTITRACK PROCESSING:

We use Multitrack Processing to process FOIA requests. The Simple track is for requests that can be processed in one to five workdays. The Normal track is for requests that can be processed in six to twenty workdays. The Complex track is for requests that can be processed in twenty-one to sixty workdays. The Exceptional/Voluminous track is for requests requiring more than sixty workdays for processing. The Expedited track is for requests that have been granted expedited processing. Within each track, requests are usually processed on a first-in, first-out basis. Your request currently falls into the Complex processing track due to the fact that it involves more than 3 office locations.
You may narrow the scope of your request to obtain quicker processing in your currently-assigned track or move the request into a faster track (which may have the effect of reducing the cost of processing your request). If you have any questions about this, please contact us.

Thanks,
-Alison

Mr. Roby,

I need a little more information regarding this request. We can pretty efficiently pull records centrally for each cardholder but that record would not have the description of what was purchased - only the vendor and cost. In order to get more detail we will have to ask each cardholder to pull their individual records. I am wondering if you'd prefer that we pull the central records and provide that to you as a kind of "index" where you could indicate what you'd like more detail about or if you already know what information you'd like to have and you want us to go ahead and put out a data call for all records. Please let me know at your earliest convenience.

Thanks,
-Alison
