This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
-Any and all reports generated in the recall process of Wal-Mart's My Sweet Love/My Sweet Baby Cuddle Care Baby Doll (Recall number: 14-140). This should include any studies or investigations into the hazards posed by the toy, as well as any overarching reports summarizing the recall action.
-Any communications between Wal-Mart and CPSC staff regarding the recall.
-Any signed agreements between Wal-Mart and CPSC.
I also request that all fees be waived as I am a journalist -- employed by MuckRock and the Boston Globe -- and intend to use any pertinent information I receive as a result of this request to educate the public.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

I started working on a document for FOIA Request #14-F-00381 today. I should have it entered into our FOIA Tracking System and ready to go to a Government Information Specialist for processing on Monday. The Specialist will have to process the material and send it to the manufacturer for comments. At minimum, you are looking at another 20 days before the material will be ready for disclosure.
