Subject: Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Request – Records Pertaining to Threats Made to Senator Dianne Feinstein and Richard C. Blum

Dear FOIA Officer,

Under the provisions of the United States Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request access to and copies of any and all types of records, including documents, digital files, physical records, electronic media devices, and others, held by the Federal Bureau of Investigation pertaining to:

1) Any documented threats made towards Senator Dianne Feinstein or her husband, Richard C. Blum, from January 1, 2010 to the present.

2) Any investigative actions taken by the FBI in response to these threats, including but not limited to interviews, surveillance, and protective measures implemented.

3) Any arrests or charges filed as a result of these threats.

4) Any communication between the FBI and Senator Feinstein or her husband, Richard C. Blum, or their representatives, regarding these threats.

5) Any security advisories, risk assessments, or protective intelligence reports related to these threats.

6) Information on any relevant FBI programs, such as the Enhanced Specialized Use (ESU) program, involved in the investigations or protective measures related to these threats.

7) Any information pertaining to the use of technology or software, specifically Geofeedia, LifeRaft, or Media Sonar, in these investigations or threat assessments.

8) Information about any court cases resulting from these threats or investigations.

9) Any interagency communications or collaborations related to these threats, including exchanges with state and local law enforcement, other federal agencies, or international counterparts.

Should any portion of the requested records be deemed exempt from disclosure, I request the release of any reasonably segregable non-exempt portions in accordance with the United States Freedom of Information Act. If an entire document is exempt, I request a justification, citing specific FOIA exemptions, and provision of an exemption log.

Please note your obligation under the law not to destroy any records potentially responsive to this request. Any withholding, redaction, or destruction of responsive records without proper justification constitutes a violation of the FOIA and is subject to litigation.

I also request a waiver of all fees in connection with this request as disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations or activities of the government and is not primarily in the commercial interest of the requester. If the enclosed waiver is not accepted and there are any potential charges in excess of $200 associated with fulfilling my request, please inform me in advance.

As stipulated by the FOIA, I look forward to your response within twenty business days.
