Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Information and statistics on those who have renounced American Citizenship for the years 2010-2023. I am interested in knowing how many people per year renounced Citizenship and if possible divided into categories like: previously had Birthright Citizenship and were children who’s parents were birthright Citizens of America, those who previously had Birthright Citizenship but parents were Illegal Aliens or Naturalized Citizens , and those who were dual nationals. I feel this will give a better understanding of the situation. If there is any way to also include age/age group statistics or information about Jobs they may have held while working in America.
If that is not possible I would like information on the Number of Birthright American Citizens who had parents that held Birthright Citizenship to American who have renounced their Citizenship for the years 2010-2023
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
