Good morning,
This email is in response to your FOIA request below for copies of the FOIA Log from 2012 to 2015. Your request was received on October 26, 2015 and was assigned FOIA number 2016-CGFO-00189.
FOIA Logs from January 1, 2009 to March 31, 2015 are available publically on the FOIA Library. The Library may be accessed here: http://www.uscg.mil/foia/FOIA_Library.asp
The remaining portion of the log will need to be processed and reviewed for release. Some portions of the log may contain personally identifiable information (PII) which is typically withheld from release under Exemption 6. Responsive documents with PII must undergo a legal sufficiency review which may slow down response time. For faster service, you may amend your request to receive a releasable copy of the documents with PII redacted.
Please let me know if you would like to amend your request. If I do not hear back from you within 30 days of the date of this correspondence, I will assume you are no longer interested in receiving the requested records and your request will be administratively closed.
