Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

related to the criminal trial of Stewart Rhodes (case number 1:22-cr-00015-APM), specifically concerning his involvement in events that occurred on January 6, 2021, at the U.S. Capitol.

I am particularly interested in the following materials that were presented as part of the discovery in the trial:

- Audio Recording: The audio recording introduced by Jason Alpers, a U.S. military veteran, in which Stewart Rhodes is heard stating, “we should have brought rifles.”

- Text Messages: Any and all text messages sent by Stewart Rhodes on January 6, 2021.

- Audio or Video Recordings: Any audio or video recordings of Stewart Rhodes from January 6, 2021, related to his activities and participation in the events at the U.S. Capitol.

If any part of the request is denied or the records are withheld, I request a detailed explanation for each denial, along with the specific statutory exemptions being invoked.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
