Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all emails sent or received between BLM field specialist Melissa Shawcroft and field manager Dale Culver, both BLM employees of the San Luis Valley Field Office. This request seeks emails sent or received between April 1, 2024 and April 30, 2024.
I am a reporter for The Nation, The Guardian and other news outlets.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Thank you for the note. I am generally looking for substantive emails between Mr. Culver and Ms. Shawcroft --- general news clippings, boilerplate mass emails, and the like can be left out. Anything related to the federal grazing program, her work and retirement, trespass grazing, land health issues, BLM enforcement issues, permitees, etc, should be left in. Hope that helps.
