This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Software installation orders, or memos describing the installation of software, for VAX 11/780 computers, from 1980-1986.
I am a member of the news media and request classification as such. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Thanks for reaching out about my request. I generally dislike speaking on the phone, and prefer to keep FOIA related conversations in writing so that I don't get confused. If possible, I'd like to speak by email. If necessary though, I'm sure we can work out a time to speak by phone (sometimes it is simply easier). If this is about the scope of the request, then it may in fact be easier to speak on the phone and then follow up by email to create a written record and give us the best of both worlds.
