Appeal pursuant to 5 USC 552, 552a

I was attempting to corroborate widespread news reports in relation to leaks to the media about federal law enforcement and the potential mistrial of evidence related to the murder of Tupac Shakur.

Based on the publicly available information, I would like to appeal on adequeacy of search. Agency also failed to indicate if records were identified if they would 'impede an active investigation.'

The news reports would indicate a type of leak that would potentially require an obstruction of justice investigation.

I got an email from DHS with instructions to search the FBI. Would you like me to send you a copy to help you reconsider the EOUSA and the searches? I can file an OIG report if it helps.
