Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Dear FOIA Officer,

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), I am requesting access to records maintained by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) related to psychiatric consultation guidance for interprofessional services. Specifically, I am seeking documents, guidelines, memos, correspondence, or any other materials that provide guidance or instructions on the following topics:

Psychiatric Consultation for Interprofessional Services: Any guidance related to the provision of psychiatric consultation services between healthcare professionals, including but not limited to consultations from psychiatrists to other healthcare providers and vice versa.

Billing and Reimbursement: Documentation detailing the billing procedures, codes, and reimbursement policies for interprofessional psychiatric consultation services under Medicare and Medicaid.

Training and Implementation: Materials used for training healthcare providers on the appropriate procedures and practices for conducting interprofessional psychiatric consultations.

Policy Development and Updates: Any records of policy development, revisions, or updates pertaining to psychiatric consultation services for interprofessional practice, including internal memos, drafts, and final versions of such policies.

Communication and Correspondence: Internal and external communications, including emails, letters, and meeting minutes, discussing the implementation, challenges, or evaluations of interprofessional psychiatric consultation services.

I request that any fees associated with this request be waived, as the information is sought for educational purposes and not for commercial use. If there are any questions or if you need additional information to process this request, please do not hesitate to contact me.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
