Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Secretary Yellen’s response to Letter to President Joe Biden and Secretary Janet Yellen, Tom Emmer and Members of Congress, November 15th, 2023
It has come to my attention that Secretary Yellen’s response to Congressman Tom Emmer’s Letter to President Joe Biden and Secretary Janet Yellen dated November 15th, 2023 requesting information on Hamas financing through digital assets does not appear to have been made publicly available.
For your convenience, I have attached the letter to which I am seeking Secretary Yellen's response below:

I understand that certain portions of the requested information may be exempt from disclosure under FOIA exemptions, such as those concerning national security (5 U.S.C. § 552(b)(1)). If this is the case, I am willing to accept a redacted version of the documents, provided that all reasonably segregable portions of the records are disclosed in accordance with FOIA requirements.
As an independent journalist, I ask that any fees be waived.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The document you sent over is dated February 05, 2024, addressing a briefing which took place on February 01, 2024 – suggesting prior communication between Rep. Emmer/the Congressmen and the Treasury regarding the issue in question.
As I asked to obtain the Treasury's response to the Congressmen's inquiry, please send over the Treasury's direct response as well as any communication between the Treasury and the Congressmen regarding the issue between Nov. 15, 2023 and February 05, 2024.
