Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
All emails to and from email addresses ending in usda.gov containing the not case-sensitive phrases “Twin Metals” or “copper-nickel mining” or “copper mining” or "Duluth mineral complex" sent between September 1, 2018 and October 1, 2018.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

It appears this request is very broad and to conduct a proper search for all email ending in @USDA.GOV we are referring it to our USDA FOIA office for processing as it is for records outside of just the Superior National Forest. If you would like to narrow your search area to reduce fees you may do so.
At this time we are referring this case to our USDA FOIA Office for processing.
