Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Please provide records sufficient to determine the number of voluntary employee union recognitions from April 01, 2024 through June 30, 2024. If available, please provide records about individual recognition with such fields as employer, location, description of bargaining unit, union, and size of unit, and any other non-exempt fields on Form NLRB-5581.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Following-up on your fax regarding the status of FOIA Request 2024-NLFO-02390, the request was completed on September 13, 2024. I attached email that was sent to you with the instructions on how to retrieve the records. FYI - Your original July 27, 2024 request submitted through the Muckrock website wasn't actually received in our system until September 11 (I was expecting it in July and wondered what happened to you.) When you questioned it in late August, we couldn't find any record of the request so we manually entered it into SecureRelease, and then in September numerous requests - including yours - were discovered in an unmonitored email box (we're still working with SecureRelease to figure out why they were in an email box instead of automatically populating in SecureRelease.) The best way to ensure your requests are received immediately is to create a SecureRelease account and submit your requests directly through there. Otherwise every time you submit a request with a new email address, SecureRelease forces you to create a brand new account tied directly to that email or your records can't be retrieved (unless they happen to be published in the Reading Room.)
