Audit materials and reports

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Materials provided to the independent auditor, the Pun Group, hired following the Federal prosecution of Vallejo city employee Donald Burton including:
- details of internal controls in place at the time of Mr. Burton’s arrest;
- details of changes to internal controls implemented since Mr. Burton’s arrest;
- invoices, purchase orders, contracts, written approvals and any related financial or legal documents related to Mr. Burton’s malfeasance.
Materials received from the Pun Group, like interim and final audit reports.
Communications between the Pun Group and any city employees or contractors, before or after the award of the independent audit engagement.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
