Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Hello,
The roster of sworn police officers from 2016 - 2024
Names, badge numbers, serial numbers, division/station, sworn status.
The department's headshot photos of all of the same officers are referenced above. Duplicates from each year do not need to be completed. At a minimum, photos for 2023 - 2024 should be included.
Precedent: Santa Ana Police Department and LAPD have released their photos. A reminder that nothing in California Penal Code 832.7 mentions photographs in personnel records are kept confidential. Not only that, but videos and pictures of officers are regularly shared on social media.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

A message was sent to you regarding record request #24-1245:
City staff have conducted an extensive search and did not locate headshots responsive to your records request. The City did locate ID badge pictures for its officers; however, those are exempt and not subject to disclosure under Labor Code Section 1051 and Government Code Section 3307.5. The photographs are also exempt pursuant to Government Code Section 7922.000(a).
However, the City was able to locate portraits of the Vallejo Police Department’s leadership. Those photographs can be found at the following link:
