Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
* any communications to Governor Youngkin or the VDOE expressing concern about the "Just Societies" curriculum at George Mason University dating from January 2023 - present
* any communications to Governor Youngkin or the VDOE expressing concern about the "Racial Literacies" curriculum at Virginia Commonwealth University dating from January 2023 - present
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The VDOE anticipates that it will not be practically possible to provide the requested records within the five-work-day period allowed by FOIA due to staff commitments; therefore, we are invoking the additional seven working days allowed by Section 2.2-3704 B.4 of the Virginia FOIA.
