Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
I hereby request the following records with regards to Volusia County Sheriff’s Office Deputy William Blissett and Detective William Leven. I request any and all disciplinary records (if any), Internal Affairs investigations and reports, any complaints either within or by a citizen, and any and all similar reports. I request to have the outcome of each investigation/report/complaint, whether any are still pending or still under investigation, closed or reopened, and any other details the public is entitled to by law. I also request VCSO policy on how each complaint/investigation is handled and the consequences that an officer is to face based on certain complaints/the number of complaints/the severity of complaints/etc. I would like to know where Deputy William Blissett and Detective William Leven were employed before being employed with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. Please be sure to include their full name and middle initial (to avoid confusion of officers or deputies within Volusia County with the same last name), a photo or headshot, their current badge number, current rank, unit assignment, gender, race, date of employment, government email address, and salary.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
