This is a request for a public record made pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law Freedom of Information Act.

I hereby request the following information:

Any and all records pertaining to Stop Work Orders issued against residential properties in Volusia County by code enforcement officials Paul Traider, or Jeff Bergman, or Kerry Leuzinger, between January 1, 2020 to present.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge, processed by a representative of the news media/press, and is not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request.

I would prefer the request be filed electronically, by e-mail attachment if available.

Should my request be refused, kindly provide the specific legislative citation for the rejection, as required by Section 119.07(1)(d) of the Florida Statutes.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within a reasonable time frame, according to Section 119.07(1)(a),(c) of the Florida Statutes.

There is a fee associated with your requests, and the quotes are attached. There are 5 separate requests, and all fees must be paid in advance prior to research and time. These fees are only for the department of Growth and Resource Management. Keep in mind due to the nature of your requests, there may be other fees coming from other departments since they require Human Resources review as well as our information technology department for the emails and/or messages.

Please find attached an estimate of the fees associated with producing records responsive to your request. Charges are in keeping with Title X, Chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes. If you would like to proceed with the attached estimate, please let us know. Payment must be received before the final search is performed and the records are reviewed for exempt and/or confidential information.
