To Whom It May Concern:

I wanted to follow up on the following Florida Sunshine Law request, copied below, and originally submitted on June 20, 2024.

It's been over a month. I hope the Walton County legal department and BCC are not trying to delay this request until after August 20.

I expect a response and update or I will hire an attorney to get these PUBLIC RECORDS in a timely manor.

From: Walton County Board of County Commissioners

Chas,

I apologize for the delay. I have been out of the office a lot as both my husband and my aunt passed away recently. We are still training our new public records technician and are adding another tech for the new budget year to help improve our response time.
We are also still finishing up several that you have made earlier this year and will continue sending them as they are completed.

We are transitioning from ShareFile to Onedrive so our file sharing links will look different now and our IT has our settings locked for the links to expire in 7 days. If that happens, please let us know if you need access again and we will send a new one. I am creating a folder for all of your requests and will see if I give you access to that folder if it will allow you to view them for more than 7 days. My ShareFile account is now disabled but I believe the links we have sent you in the past will still be good for the 180 days. If you have trouble with any of those, let us know and we will move the records to the Onedrive folder.

I am sending the ones with Mac Carpenter next.
