Pursuant to the Washington Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
1. Number of Data Center Customers - The total number of customers categorized as "data centers" or equivalent from January 1, 2019, to the present, broken down by year.
2. Electricity Consumption - The total electricity consumption (in kilowatt-hours or megawatt-hours) attributed to data center customers for each year from January 1, 2019, to the present.
3. Growth of Data Center Customers - Year-over-year growth (in terms of number and consumption) of data center customers from January 1, 2019, to the present.
4. Internal Communications - All internal communications, including emails, meeting minutes, memos, and reports, related to policies, plans, or discussions on serving data center customers, dated from January 1, 2019, to the present.
5. Policies and Guidelines - Any official or draft policies, guidelines, or procedures created, revised, or implemented since January 1, 2019, that address the operation, service rates, or requirements for data center customers.
To assist in processing this request, I am specifically interested in documents, communications, or data related to:
- Power usage and billing structures for data center customers.
- Discussions on accommodating the growth of data centers in the service area.
- Environmental and infrastructure impact considerations related to data center customers.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Attached are the response and completion letter. The Kittitas County PUD does not have any data center customers, as we only serve about 5000 customers in a rural part of the state. This is why we do not have any records pertaining to data centers as you will see in the enclosed document.
