Pursuant to RCW Ch. 42.56 (Public Records Act), I hereby request the following records:
A log of public records requests submitted to the Department of Social and Health Services that lists the date of request, the requester's name, the requester's organizational affiliation, a description of the request and the date the request was filled. Ideally I would like this information for the period from 2004 to the present.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is made in the process of academic research and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you for your response to the Department’s request for clarification. This email further responds to your request under the Public Records Act. Please use the above request ID number when contacting us about your request. You have agreed that a list of the public records requests in PDF format from the DSHS agency-wide tracking system from 2010 to present will satisfy your request. We do need to additionally clarify that this system was implemented starting in June 2010 and was not required for all agency public records requests until the end of that year.
Please note that this system contains over 50,000 requests. Due to the time needed to extract, copy, review and redact the information you request from ARRTS, we estimate it will take 30 work days or until about November 9, 2015, to produce an installment of records under your request. At that time, the Department will inform you of any costs for the copies. The Department may charge fifteen cents per page for hard copies and actual cost of other copies, plus postage and cost of mailer. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you.

Hello, I believe your email is in reference to Request ID 201509 PRR 750. The tenth installment, sent on January 3, 2018 was returned to our officer as undeliverable. We attempted contact by email on February 7, 2018 to receive an updated mailing address but did not receive a response, We also did not have a phone number we could use for contact. Therefore, the request was closed as abandoned on February 15, 2018. I've attached our February 7, 2018 correspondence for reference.
