In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or thumb-drive if not. Please include attachments to emails.

$0.05 for every 4 files, and $0.10 per GB
If you choose not to opt-in to the pilot program, our standard charges apply. See below:
Discs (CD) $0.69 per CD
Envelope $0.29 per envelope
Photocopy (Black & White copy) $0.15 per page
First Class US Postage
Requestors will be notified in advance of any non-standard charges.

Dear Requester:
The Office of Public Records and Open Public Meetings is seeking a partial clarification regarding your public records request received by this office on 01/20/2022. This clarification is sought as allowed by RCW 42.56.520 of the Public Records Act of Washington State; which states, in part:
[A]n agency may ask the requestor to clarify what information the requestor is seeking. If the requestor fails to respond to an agency request to clarify the request, the agency must respond to those portions of the request that are clear.
We seek clarification about the following:
Your request seeks "all communications sent...that mention any of the following in the subject line or body of the email/letter:" [list of individual names/keywords]
The University has collected approximately 7,000 documents, of which many contain the names/keywords in attachments to emails but not in the "subject line or body of the email/letter."
Please clarify whether or not your request is limited to those communications which contain the names/keywords only in the "subject line or body of the email/letter."
Please contact this office by 03/08/2022 to clarify your request as specified above. If we do not hear from you by that date, we will assume you are interested in obtaining only those records containing the names and keywords in the "subject line or body of the email/letter" and will fulfill your request accordingly.
