Request for Body Cam Footage of Arrest on September 7, 2024

Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act, I hereby request the following records:

Date: September 7, 2024
Location: 50 Block of South High Street, West Chester, PA 19380
Suspect: Dylan Novak, 21, of Avondale, PA
Incident Summary: At approximately 1:45 PM, a West Chester Borough Police officer was flagged down by employees of a business regarding a person refusing to leave the property. Officers made contact with the individual, identified as Dylan Novak. When officers attempted to take him into custody, Novak resisted arrest, physically fought officers, and broke a window on the property. Two officers sustained injuries during the struggle. Novak was eventually subdued, arrested, and charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, and related offenses. He was transported to the West Chester Police Department for processing before being taken to Chester County Prison.
I am requesting copies of all body-worn camera footage from officers who:

Responded to the initial call for assistance.
Attempted to place Novak in custody.
Were involved in the physical altercation.
Transported Novak to the police department and Chester County Prison.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
