Dear Requester:
The City of West Hollywood is in receipt of your request for records today, August 10, 2020. Note that there is no record of your previous submittal. Also, please be advised that the City of West Hollywood has proclaimed a local emergency in response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the City has taken immediate steps to prevent and curb the spread of the contagious virus. As part of the measures to ensure public safety, City Hall has been closed to the public and its normal operations have been disrupted. Accordingly, we will respond to your Public Records Act request as soon as we reasonably can.
Nevertheless, we are exercising diligence and will make every effort to complete this request as soon as practically possible but there may be some delays. If your request requires a search for documents by other City departments which are currently not being staffed, our assessment as to whether responsive documents exist will be delayed. The City will make its best effort to provide readily accessible records within the time constraints of the Public Records Act. We appreciate your cooperation in this time of emergency and sincerely apologize for any delay. Further, for your convenience and in efforts to safeguard public health, we will provide records in electronic format whenever possible
