all documents related to the investigation of melissa joanna beavers in berkeley county. She was recently sentenced for stealing from berkeley county.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The Office of the Governor received your three requests on December 16,
2024, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act,
W. Va. Code § 29B-1-1, et seq. (“FOIA”), access to and copies of:
1. all documents pertaining to the arrest and investigation of former
Governor Arch Moore
2. all documents pertaining to any investigation of former Berkeley County
Clerk John Small
3. all documents related to the investigation of Melissa Joanna beavers in
Berkeley County
We have completed our search for public records in our custody and found no
records that are responsive to your request. Please note that this office
is not the custodian of records for all state agencies and that records
responsive to your request may be in the possession of another agency, for
example, the West Virginia Berkeley County Commission or the State Archives
under the Department of Arts, Culture, and History. The responsibilities of
this office in connection with your FOIA's are now at an end. You are
advised that FOIA affords you the opportunity to seek injunctive or
declaratory relief in the Circuit Court of Kanawha County, West Virginia.
