Pursuant to Delaware's Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all available dog licensing and registration data for animals for Wilmington, DE.
Please include all available segregable data, including but not limited to:
• the type of animal
• the breed of the pet
• the pet's date of birth
• the pet's name
• the owner's address or applicable zip code
• any other available notes
Also, I am requesting that the data be sent in Excel format.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Good Afternoon Cynthia,
I received feedback regarding your request after I was under the impression another department would be handling this. I have been informed, through our Law department, that the City of Wilmington does not keep this type of information in any of our departments that I have access to.
The Division of Public Health Office of Animal Welfare is the animal control service provider for the City of Wilmington. I would advise that you reach out to them and they should be able to provide you with the information you’re looking for or point you in the right direction of who can.
