Pursuant to the Wisconsin Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1) All project summary and design documents (e.g., executive summaries, experiment designs, methodologies, implementation plans, etc.) for the 2019-20 Advanced Placement (AP) Prediction Pilot (described here: https://dpi.wi.gov/news/dpi-connected/2019-20-advanced-placement-ap-prediction-pilot-recruitment).

2) The final report for the 2019-20 Advanced Placement (AP) Prediction Pilot and any other documentation of the pilot's results (e.g., teacher survey results, final statistical analyses, etc.).

I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist and intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest. In the event you choose to impose fees, I request a detailed breakdown of the fees, including the hourly wage of each employee involved and an explanation justifying the employee hours required to fulfill the request.

Should you choose to reject this request or redact portions of it, I ask that you provide a detailed breakdown of the statutory exemptions and associated case law underlying your decision to withhold each/any portions from public review.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good afternoon,
Please find attached responsive documents to your request placed on December 16th regarding the 2019-2020 AP Prediction Pilot. Regarding the second part of your request (Final Report for AP Prediction Pilot), there is no final report or similar for the AP prediction pilot. This is because very few districts downloaded the prediction reports, and none completed the survey that was intended to gather their feedback. One district asked to be removed from the pilot due to covid, so it is likely that covid is to blame for the lack of responses. AP predications were not pursued further after the end of the pilot and there are no plans to do so in the future.

Your public records request is considered complete. Please let me know if you have any questions.
