From: Jimmy Tobias

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Wyoming Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of the database where BLM records reports of unauthorized use, e.g. trespass grazing, for the lands it administers. This request seeks records produced by the BLM Wyoming state office, and/or its field offices. It seeks a spreadsheet or copy of the database for all reports of unauthorized use that occurred between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. For an example of a screenshot of the database in question, see the attached document.

I am a reporter for High Country News and all data received will be used to inform the public on the federal grazing program. Thus I request a fee waiver.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Jimmy Tobias
