Thanks to your generous support, we reached our goal - follow the request for updates when the files come in.
In response to a FOIA request for the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s files on Black Panther informant William O’Neal, the Bureau located over 7,000 pages.
Actually releasing the documents will cost a duplication fee of $250. You can chip in and help with our latest crowdfunding campaign.
O’Neal was the informant that provided the layout used by the Chicago Police in the raid that killed Fred Hampton. His file has not previously made available to the public, and will provide valuable insights into the COINTELPRO program’s targeting of “black militants.”
Every dollar raised helps release dozens of pages, so even a small donation helps. Contribute below, or via the request page.
