After months of behind the scenes work, our new accounts management tools are now live. Upgrades include more starting users (five instead of three), the ability to invite to join an Organization via email, and the ability to switch between organization accounts and personal accounts with just a click.

Later this week, we’re revamping how you manage your account and site features to offer the ability to be a member of multiple organizations, more easily add and remove members, and a lot more. In preparation for the upgrades, the site will be down Friday from 10 a.m. Eastern as we migrate data.

No major releases over the last week, but we’ll be at Code for Boston tomorrow if you want to meet up in person, or join or Slack to talk about contributing to our efforts.

This week, we worked behind the scenes to continue to tweak and improve our integration with agency FOIA portals.

MuckRock requests can now be submitted through agencies’ existing portals, making a smoother experience for both requesters and agencies alike. Plus better sorting, fewer bad agencies, improving tracking number tracking, and more.
