Dear FBI:
Thank you very much for responding to my FOIA request about the FBI’s alpaca mascot, J. Edgar HODLer. And although I have no doubt you scoured your records for any and all signs of that wily camelid, I must admit I was disappointed not to see a picture of the beast himself. Obviously, it is black-letter law that the FOIA cannot obligate an agency to create a record that does not already exist. Nonetheless, I take this opportunity to ask, to beg, to plead, and to beseech the Bureau: send me a record featuring a picture of J. Edgar HODLer himself, so that the public may know and appreciate the fearsome sight of this bold public servant!
